Mundania: How and Where Technologies Are Made Ordinary
Willim explores how emerging technologies gradually become invisible, woven into everyday life through routines, infrastructures, and unremarked behaviour. He introduces the concept of “mundania” to describe this transformation from novel to ordinary. Through ethnographic research, he shows how digital platforms, devices, and infrastructures both shape—and recede into—the background of daily experience.
